Here are just a few things we can all do to make a difference:
- Never drive golf carts near the greens and tees. ALL GOLFERS should return to the cart paths around all tees and greens.
- Push carts should never be taken between greens and bunkers. Not only does this increase the traffic wear on the turf but over time it can lead to bunker faces collapsing.
- Replace your divots. If the divot is not replaceable, then fill the hole with sand.
- Repair your pitch-marks on the green. In fact, why don’t we all get in the habit of repairing our own pitch-mark plus one more.
- Keep all four wheels on the path when driving on the cart paths. We continue to have worn out areas along our paths where cart tires have ruined the grass.
This is your golf course and you should be so proud of this place. This golf course continues to be praised as one of the best in the state. Take care of the course and we all win.
